Ed Fry is currently focused on Growth at Hull.io.

He started creating websites and marketing online at 15 from his bedroom. Over consecutive summers, he interned at Distilled, an online marketing agency based in London, doing client work and marketing Distilled’s consulting and events .

Whilst attending one of Distilled’s SearchLove events in London, in the conference bar, he pitched Rand Fishkin (Moz) to add a jobs board to his new marketing community – inbound.org – he co-founded with Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot). One thing led to another – Ed joined inbound.org as employee #1 in September 2012, growing the community from 5,000 to over 150,000 marketers.

Attracting people isn’t the problem it used to be. Now anyone can publish and share anything and reach their target audience – power to us!

But, do you emails get opened? Are your blog posts read and shared? Is your “content strategy” really driving engaged, high-value leads and customers? Or are you just looking for another lever to crank up the system – *cough* them damn pop-ups… *cough*

In this talk, I want to share stories and tactical lessons of content that can really stand out and *engage*. You don’t have to be a desperate content marketer any more.
